Time and the experience have changed the construction methodology of these series 300 CONTE GRABS, designed for gripping and handling coils with the hole in the horizontal axis. These new methods are faster and safer to satisfy continually evolving market demand. The Conte company has also succeeded in reducing the external structural dimensions of its equipment, both in width and in height without losing the minimum and maximum gripping range. With the same grab, this range varies from a min. of 300 mm. to a max. of 2.900 mm. All this equipment is designed to have reduced structural weight and on customer request, it can be fitted with various options, such as: extra safety systems, a device for continuous rotation through 360° a weighing system, radio control, etc. (options applicable after purchasing the tong). Our company is also special in the fact that it produces the most compact grab, complete with 360° rotation, in the world– model 304.
